About

Home Brewed Designs Company was established at the beginning of 2012. We are a privately owned company located in Northern California. We feel lucky to have our glassware at a couple of stores in town. It has been a slow growing process.

The idea for our glasses had its origins in my art work; I am a part time artist and craftsman. In fact, the hops and barley imagery in our logo is similar to a design I had used in some art work last year.

Our goal is to provide our customers with quality items. Our future product line will include more quality items produced here in the USA, made with certified organic materials when possible (with exception to the glassware). We definitely believe in USA craftsmanship but also in using materials that we feel positive about.

Mission:

On our blog we will be posting information about two great American industries; Craft Brewing and Manufacturing. Manufacturing is an incredibly broad industry. Rather than discuss all of it, which would be impossible, we will try to provide information on the growth from various manufacturing sectors.

The main purpose of discussing manufacturing jobs, is to highlight US companies that actually produce their products here. Some of these companies will be new to some people but some companies might be familiar. The USA made products that we are seeking to feature will be those that are dedicated to maintaining the spirit of craftsmanship.

Craft Brewing is also a growing industry here in the USA. Latest reports indicate that this industry is growing and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. Please click the link below to read an article by Charlie Papazian, founder of the Great American Beer Festival.

If you are a beer enthusiast, then we hope that you will support your local brewery. Obviously, supporting your local brewery helps the local economy. From time to time we will have stories about our visits to local breweries and events. If we can remember to take the camera with us, then we will have some pictures too.

Lastly, our hope is that more people will start to consider supporting local business. The support you give does not have to be for any business we recommend or write about. But we do hope that more people start thinking about the great service or quality products that can be found within their own community.
